hat do you do when you feel like you can't write to save your life or you can write, but it's a real struggle for you to write the blog posts you need for this project?

Private Label Rights (PLR) .... Use It Very VERY Carefully
Almost everyone has some PLR (private label rights) articles on their PC, BUT ... you really have to be very smart about how you go about using it on your Blogger blog (or any other platform). Any PLR articles or blog posts you use MUST be very high quality rewrites of the original ... it cannot be used "as is" .

A Word (or Two) About Rewrites.....
Don't be lazy and just do synonym replacements with your favorite article spinning tool! You do need to edit, rewrite and beef up the content, but do it from your own perspective. Also add relevant images and YouTube videos to your blog posts to add more value to your PLR content. And where possible, add a link or two to relevant content on authority sites. Run your rewritten articles through CopyScape or another online tool to compare your rewrite against the original article.

Back in the day -- before the 'Panda' updates, many internet marketing experts said it was okay to do a light rewrite that was 35 - 55% unique. But doing that level of PLR rewrite today would be a complete waste of your time and will get you nowhere fast! Personally, I do rewrites that are at least 85 - 90% unique on all PLR articles that I use and that's the level I recommend you aim for with your rewrites. Sometimes I use the PLR article to model an entirely new article after. Yes, it's a lot more work, but this is what you're going to have to do to create the high quality content you're going to need for your blog.

Create High Quality Content That's Relevant, Helpful and Current!

When Google rolled out the initial 'Panda' update (a/k/a the 'Farmer' update) to it's search engine algorithm in February of 2011, Google wanted to improve user experience by weeding out thin low quality blogs and websites that were gaming the system from their search engine rankings. The initial and subsequent monthly updates have made it clear that Big G is placing a lot of value on (a) content quality, (b) the relevance of content to a search inquiry, (c) how helpful content is likely to be to a site page visitor, and (d) content freshness.

Setting Up Blogger Is Easier Than 1-2-3

The set up for Blogger is very simple. And back in 2007 when I was approved for Adsense, it was cool to include info on how to set up Blogger in this lens, but today it takes a third row seat to what really matters in getting approved for Google Adsense: choosing a niche topic with good commercial value, and writing unique, high quality content that's helpful to someone searching for information on your niche topic.
So I've removed the modules that went through Step 1: Setting up your account, Step 2: Naming your Blogger blog & choosing a URL, and Step 3: Making your Blogspot look like a real website. You really don't need a module-by-module walk through, because Google has made Blogger even easier to work with. Just watch the YouTube video tutorial in the next module.

How to Use the Google Trends Tool for Niche Research

This YouTube video shows you how to use the Google Trends tool to gauge behavior for the keywords you generated with Google Insights for Search. This tutorial, unlike a number of the Google Trends videos on YouTube, is current for 2012. That means it shows how the tool works now (in terms of hot trends results, which are limited to the top 20), NOT how it used to work (it used to give you the top 100 hot trends for any given day).

3 Powerful Google Research Tools You Can Use to Uncover High Commercial Value Niche Topics

Tools. When it comes to tools to help you research potential niche markets to target, there is an overabundance of them in my opinion. So many that you need a tool (or at least a "how to" guide) to help you pick the right one for your online projects! But for the purpose of finding niches that have high commercial value, Google offers 3 excellent tools you can use. They are easy to work with, provide you with info based on Google's own data and best of all ... they're FREE!
The 3 Google tools you can use to discover worthwhile niche topics for this project are: 1.Google Insights for Search, 2.Google Trends, and 3.Google External Keyword tool.
These are my favorite free niche research tools. With them you can quickly take some seed ideas, get the trends for those ideas, see what geographic areas have the most interest in these ideas, get keyword search terms from those seed ideas and create keyword lists for this project. In the next 3 modules I'm going to give you 3 YouTube video tutorials to help you get the most out of using these 3 tools.

I was approved for my Google Adsense publisher ID on 4/7/07. It'a true! It took me just 6 days total time to get approved. That's 6 days from 4/1/07 the day I began the project, until 4/7/07 the day I received my welcome email message from Google Adsense. All I did was to follow the same exact 5 steps I'm revealing here on this lens page.

NOTE: As I mentioned in the introduction a few things have changed since April 2007. Google has become a wee bit more "sensitive" about certain niche topics and there have been a number of search engine algorithm changes, chief among which have been the initial and subsequent Google Panda updates. Yes, Panda has had a MAJOR IMPACT on search engine rankings, but even more so on content quality. These changes affect (1) your choice of viable blog topics, and (2) the content you will use for this project - specifically, the quality, the length and the number of blog posts.
